MOSAIC Community Land Trust Celebrates Young Children

A community celebration for families with young children was held on Saturday, April 18, at Pottstown High School from 1-3 pm. MOSAIC joined over 40 community agencies to share our plans and resources with young children and their families, and provided fun family activities. More than 1500 people attended. It was a great day to let the community know about MOSAIC CLT!

We talked with community residents about our homeownership and revitalization strategies, and invited the children to create their own Mosaics with dried beans and glue! We had fun talking about our gardens, growing your own beans, and learning about health and nutrition with MOSAIC CLT!

PEAK, Pottstown’s school readiness initiative and Pottstown Memorial Medical Hospital for this community outreach sponsored the event.

MOSAIC CLT invites you to join us as we make owning a home a reality for your neighbors, and as we strengthen our neighborhoods. We hope to see you and your young gardeners at our 423 or 615 Chestnut Street gardens this spring, summer and fall! Come grow with us!
