Welcome to Andrew Reid, our new Executive Director!

Mosaic Community Land Trust is pleased to announce the hiring of Andrew Reid to the position of Executive Director effective March 16, 2023. 

He brings more than 30 years of community and economic development leadership experience to Mosaic, including working with economically distressed communities at the federal and regional levels, building capacity and funding critical investments.  His previous roles have encompassed activities including project and grant development, community arts infrastructure, and microenterprise and small business programs. Andrew also serves on the faculty of Temple University as an Adjunct Associate Professor, teaching Community and Economic Development.

Andrew Reid holds a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Urban Justice and Sustainability from Tufts University, an MBA from Golden Gate University, a BA from the University of California – Davis, as well as the Economic Development Finance Professional certification through the National Development Council.  He also has substantial non-profit board experience including both Community Development Corporations and Community Health Centers. A resident of nearby Mont Clare, PA, Andrew and his wife Kathleen are the proud parents of a herd of rescue dogs and cats. In his spare time, Andrew rides the Schuylkill River Trail and competes in endurance cycling events on Pennsylvania’s gravel trails.

Mr. Reid is excited to join Mosaic and help the organization leverage its mission and scale programs to be an even greater asset to the Pottstown community. He stated, “When I started in this space in the 1990s, an organization like Mosaic was where I aspired to be. I always loved seeing communities working to determine their own needs and then creating the programs and assets to meet those needs. I am thrilled to join Mosaic and help accomplish great things for Pottstown and look forward to working with the community and its stakeholders.”
