Have you always wanted to learn more about beekeeping? Are you considering starting your own beekeeping at home? Come learn the basics of the craft with local bee expert, Judy Kline at this theoretical exploration into the ins and outs of how to care for hives and what it requires.

March 31st, 7:00 pm at The Complex, 724 N Evans Street, 2nd Floor Meeting Room (take stairs or elevator to 2nd floor and follow the signs).

About the instructor: Judy Kline is a Pottstown resident who will begin her 8th season as a beekeeper this year.  She has completed both the beginner and intermediate course of beekeeping through the Montgomery County Beekeepers Association and has completed an online beekeeping course through Penn State University.  She currently serves as a mentor to beginning beekeepers and has colonies in 4 locations in the Pottstown area.  Spruce St. Apiary is the name of her business where she processes and sells honey, creamed honey, and beeswax.  She is an elementary school teacher who still subs occasionally, and enjoys reading, hiking, and camping in addition to her passion for beekeeping.  She and her husband reside in Pottstown.
