There’s always something growing in the Mosaic Community Gardens – and there’s always something that needs doing!
Our gardens are thriving because of the time, energy, and care that our gardeners and community volunteers put into them. As we move into the heart of the growing season, we’re inviting gardeners, neighbors, friends, and anyone who enjoys getting their hands in the dirt to join us for a few upcoming volunteer days.
You don’t need to be an experienced gardener. You just need to be willing to lend a hand. We’ll have plenty of jobs to do, from weeding and watering to tidying up garden spaces and keeping pathways looking good. Come for an hour or stay for the whole time – every set of hands makes a difference!

These workdays are a great opportunity to get to know other gardeners, meet neighbors, learn something new, and help keep our shared garden spaces beautiful and productive. And if you’ve never visited one of our gardens before, this is a great time to stop by and see what’s growing!
Garden work is good for the neighborhood, good for the environment, and, honestly, pretty good for the soul. There’s something satisfying about spending a couple of hours outside, getting a little dirty, and seeing the difference you can make with your own two hands.
So grab your gardening gloves, bring a water bottle, and come grow with us. No gardening expertise required – just a willingness to help!
