Wednesday, February 24th, Mosaic had a sneak peek at Spring with some of our new favorite gardeners. The class was held at Pottstown Library, and despite the nasty weather, a large group of gardeners got together to learn something new, plan this year’s garden, and enjoy sharing our gardening ups and downs.
Be sure to join us for our seeds workshop on Saturday, March 5th between 10:00 am to 12:30 pm (a change from the original 12-2) at the Pottstown YWCA. Drop in anytime and start seeds for this year’s garden plot. We will have heirloom seeds for many of the best veggies to start indoors, which will be ready by our first planting day, May 14-15. We’ll send you home with not just your newly planted seeds, but directions to help you care for them until they are ready to go outdoors. All you need at home is a sunny windowsill. Register for the workshop by contacting Tracy Purdy (tracy.purdy@temple.edu) or Laura Washington (wash5000@msn.com).
