The end of the growing season is coming up and that means we need help doing our year-end clean up at each of our four community gardens! Individuals, families, neighbors, corporate, church, youth groups – all are needed and welcome! Some tools and gloves are available, but feel free to bring your own. Many hands make light work!
Help is needed at the following dates and times:
Sunday, September 14, noon-2:00 pm – The Mosaic Garden, 423 Chestnut Street
Sunday, September 21, 10:00 am-noon – The Chestnut Street Garden, 615 Chestnut Street
Sunday, September 28, 10:00 am-noon – The Walnut Street Garden, 301 Walnut Street
Sunday, October 5, 10:00am-noon – The Barth Garden, 467 West Walnut Street (Barth Elementary)
If you want to help but can’t make these days and times, please reach out to our Gardens Manager, Tom Petruno, at tpetruno@gmail.com or (209)639-9064. We always love to accomodate volunteer groups and can arrange to have your group help anytime. See you in the gardens!
