MOSAIC Community Gardens Still Growing…‏

Howdy Gardeners,

The Development of Our Second Garden is Steadily Moving Along…

The construction of our newest garden is well underway!

Both water hydrants have been installed, fill dirt has been delivered and laid along with some of top soil!  The fence will be installed as early as next week! Hooray!!!

We are making good progress and will be growing great produce while cultivating new relationships in the community for our next growing season!

There a loads of people who live in the same block at the garden who are very interested in becoming part of the MOSAIC family!

Pottstown “CARES” about its Community!

Tomorrow is project CARES (Community, Awareness, Responsibility, Empowerment, and Sustainability) Day all over town!  The Hill School has teamed up with the Borough of Pottstown and the Pottstown School District to demonstrate their care for our neighborhoods in several ways.  The clean-up initiative begins at 9:30 AM all over town!

A team of volunteers have been assigned to our MOSAIC Community Gardens to build a beautiful bench (donated by the Hill School) and to construct/turn our compost bins!

Wanna join us???

All you have to do is meet us at the garden at 9:30 AM sharp, be dressed warm and ready to dig in!

Please Note, if you no longer wish to grow or tend to your plot this season – it is YOUR responsibility to clear out your plot and turn the dirt! – YOU owe it to your plot for all of the great produce it’s provided all season!

See ya’ at the gardens,

Laura
